The MarketAxess Winter Externship is a one-day event which will give you an insight what it’s like to work at a fast- growing global fin-tech (financial technology) firm. A leader in electronic corporate bond trading and part of the S&P 500 family – that’s MarketAxess!

This will be a great experience to learn, build your networking skills and connections, as well as add value to your resume. Our 2021 Externship will be facilitated virtually.

The day will consist of:

• Welcome to MarketAxess by the CEO/President
• Overview of each function/department by a senior leader, and junior analysts
• Team-building activity
• Panel discussion (involving Q+A) with former interns
• Social networking event with senior leaders and former interns
• Throughout the day, you will be assessed on your various contributions. Successful candidates will receive an invitation to attend one of our early SuperDays to interview for a 2022 summer internship opportunity.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Must be a Sophomore, graduating in May 2023
• Currently studying Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:
  • Business
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Computer science
• Strong academic background with leadership qualities
• Interest in the fin-tech space
• Interest in interning/living in the New York City area
