Job Description

MarketAxess is seeking a hardworking Finance intern to join our team. The candidate will handle a wide range of duties and be expected to be a fast learner that is comfortable handling multiple projects at the same time.  As a member of the global finance team, the candidate will have wide exposure to various functions within Finance department (Treasury, Reg Reporting, Accounting, Investor Relations).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own several process improvement projects over the course of the internship and present findings to Chief Financial Officer
• Ad hoc analytics related to our broker-dealer regulatory reporting
• Create dynamic dashboards to illustrate trends in daily liquidity across multiple currencies
• Partner with sales to document trading system workflows and map accounting implications
• Aid with data quality/validation from new data sources

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business
• Intern candidates must be graduating in December 2023 or May 2024
• Strong results orientation
• Strong MSOffice skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
