    Position Description As the Recruiting Manager, you report directly to the Chief of Staff and work closely with hiring managers to own and drive recruiting operations at MaketerHire. You are an expert in all things recruiting and are passionate about ensuring our hiring managers and candidates have an exceptional experience from beginning to end. You are an operational-savvy expert who can make an impact by remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. You can quickly adapt to changing priorities, ensuring our recruiting operations are consistently moving forward and constantly look for ways to improve. 

    You will manage job postings across multiple sites and source candidates both actively and passively, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to see all hiring processes through to completion. 

    This role will have a heavy focus on staffing and scaling our Sales team for both inbound and outbound roles. 

    You have a positive, can-do attitude and attention to detail. You will share best practices and guidance on how to improve our recruiting operational efficiency. 

    Responsibilities

    • Own the recruiting function at MarketerHire, driving full-cycle recruiting and support across all verticals in the business.

    • Use data to implement new, and optimize existing, recruiting tools to continuously improve our overall effectiveness. You are open to experimenting, learning and adapting quickly with the goal of improving recruiting operations.

    • Partner closely with hiring managers to ensure hiring needs are met in a timely fashion.

    • Build diverse pipelines and ensure that hiring processes are fair and inclusive from beginning to end. 

    • Advise on and draft job descriptions as needed. 

    • Phone screen and usher qualified candidates through the interview process, including scheduling all interviews for our candidates, hiring managers, and panel interviewers across multiple time-zones. 

    • Facilitate and interpret candidate feedback from hiring managers and panel interviewers.

    • Conduct reference checks. 

    • Work with the Chief of Staff and department heads to identify what is currently working well and where organizational efficiencies can be improved.

    • Partner with stakeholders in the hiring process to create an outstanding candidate experience from the beginning through onboarding.

    • Work with our team to make recommendations on inbound strategy to increase the quality and quantity of applicants.

    • Advise on and implement strategies to expand our recruiting presence including updating and enhancing the careers page, submitting to recruiting lists, etc. 

    • Regularly report on recruiting KPI’s and advise on areas of improvement. 

    • Assist HR & recruiting with additional projects, as needed.

     

    Requirements

    • 4-6 years of experience working Talent, Recruiting, or People Operations at B2B, Tech, or SaaS companies.

    • Experience supporting distributed teams. 

    • Proven experience staffing Sales and Marketing teams to support a rapidly growing start-up organization.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills utilizing Slack, Google Hangouts, Zoom, and other remote communication systems.

    • Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions independently and able to share them with the team.

    • Proven organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

    • Possess a positive, confident, and determined demeanor. 

    • Proficiency with GSuite, applicant tracking systems.

    • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume dynamic start-up environment.

    In Your First Week You Will:

    • Begin the MarketerHire onboarding process

    • Become familiar with our recruiting process and ATS

    • Familiarize yourself with existing open and upcoming roles

    • Meet with all hiring managers to learn their hiring processes

    In Your First Two Weeks You Will:

    • Review and reach out to inbound candidates in our ATS

    • Begin proactive candidate sourcing for open roles

    • Formulate a paid posting strategy

    • Understand our current and upcoming recruiting needs.

     

    In Your First 30 Days You Will:

    • Successfully own recruiting operations for all open and upcoming positions

    • Advise on updating existing job postings to optimize against our ideal candidate profiles.

    • Audit our existing recruiting strategies and make recommendations on ways to improve quality and quantity of candidates.

    • Create a roadmap for optimizing and improving our recruiting practices.

    • Create benchmarking metrics and regularly report on the candidate pipeline.

     

    In Your First 90 Days You Will:

    • Execute on initiatives outlined in your recruiting roadmap.

    • Continue to successfully place top tier talent on our internal team.

    • Be a driving force in managing daily recruiting operations, problem solving, and implementing new and best practices.
