Job Description

We’re looking for a very experienced and smart Full Stack Software Engineer with extensive front end web development experience to play a critical role at our fast-growing financial technology company with huge equity upside.

We are well-funded and profitable, with offices in Silicon Valley (re-opening in late 2021) and San Diego (opening late 2021). We provide growth capital, advertising intelligence, and world-class experts to help exceptional companies profitably scale digital advertising results. You'll work with an exceptional team of software developers, data scientists, and growth marketers from Stanford, Cal, etc. and be responsible for development and problem solving at all levels.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• a BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a top school or equivalent real world experience
• 10+ years of experience coding in a variety of languages and object oriented frameworks:
  • Node.js, React, and other client side Javascript frameworks. Objective C/C++, Linux/Unix scripting and command line experience. Must have experience with database design and data structures, SQL, NoSQL, document databases, etc. Experience with modern application tooling and web services, including npm, Github, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, etc. Experience with python and Apache Airflow a big plus.
• a strong focus on code robustness and experience with test driven development, unit testing, end to end testing, and triaging text cycles
• the ability to turn ideas into extremely reliable code
• the ability to experiment and use data to drive decision-making
