    Job Description

    We're seeking a very smart, methodical, and analytical person with high energy and great attention to detail to join our Advanced Data Analytics team.

    This is a full time, contract to hire paid position, where you'll get training along with hands-on experience working side-by-side with our Advanced Analytics and Social Media Advertising teams. You will be assigned a ~ 1 month project, and if successful, you will be invited to join our team as a full-time employee with a competitive salary and stock package.

    Compensation: $3,000 for 1 month training program

    The purpose of this training program is to develop marketing analysts who will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver the best product for our clients. Your primary focus will be to conduct quantitative analysis of data to uncover actionable insights to inform advertising strategy for our clients.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

    • Collecting, processing, and analyzing data to improve business decision making in the fields of marketing and advertising
    • How to work with large ad tech data sets
    • How to develop weekly reports from marketing data, create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to facilitate campaign optimization, and present findings to team members
    • How to graphically depict data so it can easily be understood by laymen, and build dashboards that are simple and visually appealing, yet showcase a powerful story
    • How to work with account managers to identify key questions and KPIs and develop analytical frameworks to drive campaign performance.
    • Use of tools such as Excel and Python and business intelligence and data visualization tools like Tableau

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Psychology, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences, etc.)
    • Strong mathematics skills, with a working knowledge of statistics
    • Experience with Python and Tableau a plus
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
    • Hard worker
    • Very smart
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, learn and apply best practices from other teams, and always strive for high quality deliverables in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
