Job Title: Marketing Assistant – Windsor, CA
Employment Status: Part Time
Classification: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, a minimum of 4 hours per day, scheduled between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Exact start and end times may be flexible within that window.

Position Summary: The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in executing campaigns, conducts market research, and maintains promotional materials to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Coordinates events, manages social media accounts, analyzes marketing data, and assists with content creation across various platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and possesses strong communication and organizational skills to help lead marketing initiatives and support overall business goals.
Essential Functions:
• Provides administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
• Supports the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across a variety of marketing channels including social media, email campaigns, webinars and websites.
• Writes and edits content for social media, websites and press releases.
• Creates, edits, and schedules engaging content including but not limited to text, images, videos, and stories for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
• Conducts market, competitor, and customer research.
• Monitors social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
• Responds to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Tracks and reports on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.
• Collaborates with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and goals.
• Remains up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
Other Duties
• Assists with sign-up and coordination of tradeshows and seminar attendance.
• Assists in developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns.
• Assists with basic website updates.
• Participates in internal product training as needed.
• Performs other Marketing Assistant duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements
• Highschool Diploma/GED required.
• Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) Required
• Strong knowledge of social media and content creation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong content editing skills.

Working Conditions
This position typically functions in a business environment with occasional trips into the warehouse, lab, and production areas. There is some travel to other sites as needed. There will be exposure to moderate noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, heat/cold, and allergens especially in the warehouse, production, and travel environments.
