As a Marketing Assistant in our estate planning law firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's marketing initiatives. You will be assisting in executing marketing campaigns, creating content, managing digital assets, and facilitating client communications. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for marketing to gain practical experience in the legal industry while contributing to the firm's growth and success. Responsibilities: • Oversee website, mailing lists, analytics, and SEO to ensure content is regularly updated with the most recent information • Assist with Campaign Execution: Support the Marketing Manager in the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events. • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and informative content for various marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and email campaigns. • Digital Asset Management: Manage digital assets such as images, videos, and graphics, ensuring they are organized, up-to-date, and readily accessible for use in marketing materials. • Social Media Management: Assist in managing the firm's social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence. • Client Communications: Support the creation and distribution of client communications, including newsletters, updates, and event invitations, to keep clients informed about relevant legal topics and firm news. • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and client demographics to provide insights that inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth. • Event Support: Provide logistical support for firm events, seminars, webinars, and workshops, including venue coordination, registration management, promotional material preparation, and attendee follow-up. • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing activities, such as maintaining marketing calendars, updating contact lists, tracking expenses, and preparing reports. • Attend staff meetings. • Submit Key Performance Indicators (KPI) worksheets weekly. • Work in accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures. • Expand the scope of duties based on project needs. Qualifications: • Candidate should have their finger on the pulse of the current marketing landscape • Strong understanding of web and email systems, public relations, brand messaging, and social platforms • Prefer a Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent work experience required. • Prior experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create clear and compelling content. • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments. Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly
