This Co-op position supports the development and execution of business plans to achieve brand volume, profit and share objectives, as well as innovation and new product strategies for the GE & GE Profile Brands. The successful candidate will help solve problems and build an understanding of the business to help with growth goals as well as conducting analysis of consumer, customer, and competitive trends to identify and develop brand growth opportunities. The role will report directly to the Senior Brand Development Manager of the GE Appliances Brand.

How You'll Create Possibilities

• Support Brand Team in developing product, innovation, marketing, and business plans to achieve brand volume, profit and share objectives in context of a larger house of brands.
• Understand competitive dynamics; interfacing with merchandising managers, customer marketing team and sales to support strategic positioning of brand.
• Partner with Insights team to develop consumer positioning, and regular brand tracking information to monitor brand performance.
• Update the Ownership Experience File for GEA, working cross-functionally to generate data, while synthesizing data and developing action plans to improve metrics.
• Update Brand Folder Content to maximize impact of new Brand Folder Tool.
• Manage and execute 2H GE Rebate Executions, reviewing past performance, making recommendations, and completing all documentation for each execution.
• Develop Hispanic/Latino Consumer Overview & Recommendation, leveraging key data sources from housing industry
• Develop new product insights and consumer targeted product offerings via trend and competitive analyses; partnering with the product management team to prioritize and execute.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, effectively manage multiple projects and execute critical tasks in a complex and continually changing environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
