Position Summary
Waterstone, located in Madison, New London and Hamden CT is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator to support the agency's marketing, referral development, and community engagement efforts.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working independently, maintaining digital platforms, building community relationships, and helping a mission-driven healthcare organization increase its presence throughout the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Waterstone's website, online listings, social media platforms, newsletters, and outreach activities remain current, professional, and aligned with the organization's mission.
Essential Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Website Management - Project Oversight
Maintain and update as needed Waterstone's website content, provider biographies, service information, and announcements.
Ensure all website information is accurate and current.
Coordinate with website vendors when technical updates are needed.
Monitor website functionality and report issues.
Online Presence Management
Maintain Google Business Profiles and other online directory listings.
Ensure consistency of agency information across all online platforms.
Foster reviews from current clients
Review and update business information, office hours, provider listings, and photos as needed.
Social Media & Communications
Create and schedule social media content consistent with Waterstone's brand and mission.
Review and Clean Up/ThenMaintain active social media accounts and monitor engagement.
Prepare and distribute newsletters through Constant Contact.
Assist with development of community education materials and promotional content.
Community Outreach & Referral Development
Deliver marketing materials to physician offices, hospitals, schools, community agencies, and referral partners.
Maintain referral source database and contact information.
Assist in coordinating community presentations, health fairs, and educational events.
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources.
Track outreach activities and referral opportunities.
Administrative Marketing Support
Maintain marketing calendars and outreach schedules.
Organize marketing materials and promotional inventory.
Prepare monthly activity reports summarizing marketing and outreach efforts.
Identify opportunities to improve Waterstone's visibility within the community.
Report to Director of Administration
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, community outreach, nonprofit organizations, or customer relations.
Experience with social media platforms, websites, and email marketing programs.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Reliable transportation for local outreach activities.
