Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing & Content Coordinator to lead and execute our marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for creating and managing compelling content across platforms, optimizing our website, and building brand visibility through daily digital engagement. You’ll be at the front lines of how our customers and partners experience the Checkmate brand.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of ongoing and completed projects
- Manage and grow social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
- Post daily content aligned with the brand voice, including reels, stories, and behind-the-scenes highlights
- Engage with audience through comments, DMs, and community interaction
- Generate creative campaign ideas to increase brand engagement and follower growth
Website & SEO Optimization
- Maintain and regularly update company website with new content, photos, project highlights, and testimonials
- Collaborate on SEO strategies to improve search rankings and lead generation
- Monitor web traffic and campaign performance using analytics tools
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Work with leadership to develop and execute quarterly marketing plans
- Support design and distribution of printed collateral, presentations, and branded materials
- Assist in email marketing, customer outreach, and brand consistency across touchpoints
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital media (construction or trades industry a plus) or a Masters Degree in Communications
- Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills for digital platforms
- Working knowledge of website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, or Squarespace)
- Familiarity with social media analytics, SEO tools, and engagement strategies
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute in a fast-paced environment
