MARKETING COORDINATOR
FULL-TIME, HOURLY NON-EXEMPT POSITION
Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the marketing team and is responsible for supporting various marketing projects and processes. The role requires close interaction with corporate sponsorships, customer relations, and vendor relationships. The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
Schedule and purchase printed marketing materials through outside vendors and distribute at the store level upon approval of the Marketing Manager
Forward/traffic all approved advertising efforts to the appropriate vendors
Review, escalate, and respond to all marketing-related “AskBlakes” email inquiries
Field, escalate, and respond to all marketing-related phone inquiries
Field, escalate, and respond to sponsorship opportunities
Assist with corporate communications, including media relations and advertising opportunities
Assist with research regarding advertising rates and scheduling
Assist the Customer Relations Team in managing customer communication, especially as it relates to “AskBlakes” email communication
Responsible for recording and distributing meeting minutes
Assist with coordinating marketing projects and events such as special promotions, sponsorships, special events, contests, anniversary celebrations, store openings, and philanthropic outreach
Maintain the organization of all images and branding materials, including trademarks and logos, for use in traditional and digital ads, within the brand guidelines
Assist the marketing supervisor in supporting the operations department and human resources department with marketing needs and materials, as approved by the Marketing Manager
Make sure the Blake’s Lotaburger brand is represented properly
Act as support for additional needs within the department or company, utilizing company-specific software/programs
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):

Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with teammates, members of the executive team and in meetings
Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
Must be proficient with computers and have experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and various social media platforms
Must have occasional weekend availability
Degree in Marketing or Communications a plus
Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clear driving record
Must be able to pass a background check
Essential Physical/Emotional Requirements:
Must be able to occasionally stand/walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to talk and hear
Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds unassisted
Must be able to type and look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
Must be able to climb, bend and stoop
