PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Marketing Coordinator - Global Markets will be execute daily tasks and activities and support the GMM Team with short and long term projects.
This professional will have to be able to work a flexible schedule outside normal business hours to accommodate business internationally as needed.
This is a hybrid role and working 2-3 days/ week in our world headquarters in Buffalo NY is required. A bilingual candidate is required (English/Spanish)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Engage with USC and Global Marking teams to collect product information including product specifications, features and benefits, capacity constraints, minimum volume requirements, and other details need to understand the portfolio
Package and share this information with global marketing teams so they can make decisions on how to grow their portfolio
Execute Compliance Checks to determine if codes meet international regulations and food safety standards
Execute Pricing requests and updates for subsidiaries and export customers
Maintain continuous support of US-export business through close collaboration with International Customer Service and Logistics, Local Marketers and WHQ resources
Translate needs of local markets throughout the WHQ infrastructure in order and engage the proper multi-functional resources to prepare products for export to new markets
Business Lead for US STM Projects: label changes; graphics updates; network optimization efforts
Support Regional/Global Chain opportunities for export products
Collect information on our global portfolios and channels to be shared with global markets
Research global trends for reports and presentations
Leverage outside resources like Innova and GlobalData to find, summarize and share relevant reports, documents, and market sizing information
Research, draft, edit, finalize, and beautify presentations
Update Rich Connections Marketing Portal in a timely manner with presentations, market research, documents, and information
Support customer visits to WHQ- take the lead in planning and arranging all required resources including the agenda, WHQ Associates, product samples, and logistics of the trip
Support Trade Shows- take the lead in coordinating the facilities at the show like the booth and hospitality suite, work with vendors including the convention center and the hotel, arrange product samples and demonstrations
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Marketing, International Business, or related field. Masters Degree or MBA preferred
2+ years of experience in a related industry or international business
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
Ability to function and contribute positively in a team environment
Deadline and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once
Strong analytical skills; ability to research broad or vague subjects and report out relevant information
Ability to adapt to various international cultures
Adept at cutting edge tools and technologies; able to partner with Information Services Team and other groups to explore and implement new technologies and capabilities
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Proficient in hosting virtual meetings and live events in Microsoft teams
