    Job purpose

    The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing Manager in executing daily and long-term marketing activities across five brands: four B2B and one D2C. This role helps uphold Transpac Brands’ core values and commitment to exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, proactive team player with a passion for web-based marketing, event execution, content creation, and cross-platform coordination.

    Duties and responsibilities

    ** Web-Based Marketing**

    • Plan and execute email and digital marketing campaigns to increase traffic and conversions.
    • Maintain branded websites: monitor performance, update products and content, manage SEO, and ensure data accuracy.
    • Coordinate landing pages, catalogs, inventory updates, and product uploads.
    • Create website training materials for internal and external audiences.
    • Provide regular performance reports and contribute suggestions for ongoing improvement.
    • Manage digital ad calendar and monitor ad budgets.

    Marketing & Communications

    • Support branding and campaign strategy discussions.
    • Draft and distribute internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, and product marketing copy.
    • Maintain editorial calendars and ad schedules across brands.
    • Collaborate with design team to produce promotional materials.
    • Contribute content to trade press and maintain media relationships.

    Social Media Management

    • Develop and manage an annual social media calendar.
    • Write, schedule, and post weekly content across all brand platforms.
    • Ensure alignment between social media content and larger marketing campaigns.
    • Request assets (photography/graphics) in advance to support campaigns.

    Event Planning & Execution

    • Coordinate trade shows and events: logistics, materials, mailings, set-up, and follow-up.
    • Assist with showroom prep and photography/videography.
    • Maintain trade show and event calendars.
    • Build and maintain relationships with trade editors and market center contacts.

    Research & Analysis

    • Track marketing effectiveness, campaign ROI, and competitive trends.
    • Prepare reports summarizing key findings to inform marketing strategy.
    • Maintain databases with sales, competitor, and industry insights.

    Catalog Production

    • Obtain print quotes, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate production timelines.
    • Oversee mailing list management and distribution plans.
    • Participate in proofing, quality control, and timely delivery coordination.

    Photoshoots

    • Develop shot lists for web, email, and social media.
    • Assist with shoot logistics and creative execution.
    • Capture behind-the-scenes content for social use.

    Other Responsibilities

    Skills

    • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Meta Business Suite preferred.
    • Experience in graphic design using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
    • Background in SEO, content creation, and digital analytics.
    • Comfortable capturing content with mobile devices.
    • Knowledge of gift, seasonal decor, or retail industries a plus.
    • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, and/or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 1–2+ years in a marketing support role, preferably in B2B or retail sectors.

    • Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling)
    • Carrying, Pushing, Pulling boxes up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends during peak seasons or events.
