About Freedom Vision: Freedom Vision is a physician-led organization with 7 premier eye surgery centers, offering advanced LASIK, ICL, and RLE procedures. We believe the surgeries we provide grant patients true freedom with their vision, and we are seeking a dedicated Marketing Director to help us share that message, grow our patient base, and build a lasting brand. Position Summary: The Marketing Director will lead all marketing efforts across Freedom Vision’s seven locations, with daily office presence in the Tukwila clinic. This role is responsible for driving patient acquisition, strengthening referral networks, building brand awareness, and ensuring all leads are properly captured and tracked for measurable ROI. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, able to generate compelling campaigns while closely monitoring conversion metrics. Key Responsibilities Clinic Presence & Travel • Be on-site daily in Tukwila while the clinic is open to capture video, testimonials, and reviews from patients. • Travel periodically to other Freedom Vision locations to maintain brand consistency, support local marketing needs, and capture content. • Dedicate 100% of working time to Freedom Vision marketing initiatives. Digital Marketing & Lead Management • Oversee lead capture, tracking, and attribution in the Red Spot (RSI) system to ensure every online inquiry is properly routed and categorized. • Audit and optimize legacy landing pages and campaigns from King LASIK and K2 Vision to streamline tracking and reduce waste. • Ensure leads from Google Ads, self-tests on the website, and RLE information pages flow correctly into RSI with accurate tagging. • Deliver actionable reporting on leads by referral source, pre-ops, and surgeries to guide intelligent decision-making. • Lead the full migration and rebranding to Freedom Vision, including website redevelopment, optimization, and new content strategy. Content Creation & Social Media • Act as the in-house content producer, leveraging patient stories and clinic activity for creative video and photo campaigns. • Stay informed on competitor marketing strategies; adapt strong ideas for Freedom Vision’s brand. • Develop and manage a multi-channel posting schedule (YouTube, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), posting at least every other day. • Track performance of social content and provide weekly reports with engagement metrics and insights. • Manage reviews on platforms like Google and Yelp; respond to positive reviews and escalate negative ones for appropriate responses. Referral & Community Marketing • Create, implement, and manage a patient referral program to drive new consultations and surgeries. • Support co-management network building by coordinating events and meetings with local optometrists and MDs. • Develop grassroots marketing campaigns, including sales events, community fairs, and corporate outreach (e.g., Puyallup Fair). • Build relationships with HR departments of local companies to offer elective surgery benefits (LASIK, ICL, RLE). Performance Tracking & Strategy • Monitor all clinic schedules across seven locations; provide proactive marketing solutions when volumes are light. • Lead weekly marketing meetings, presenting both external metrics (ad conversions, cost per lead, cost per pre-op) and internal metrics (consult-to-surgery conversion, office-level conversion rates). • Deliver detailed monthly reports to leadership with ROI analysis, campaign insights, and growth recommendations. Leadership & Brand Building • Act as the face of Freedom Vision marketing, ensuring all messaging, branding, and campaigns align with the company’s mission. • Provide guidance and leadership to internal staff, vendors, and creative partners. • Champion innovative marketing approaches while maintaining compliance with healthcare advertising guidelines. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). • 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership, ideally in healthcare, elective medicine, or consumer-facing services. • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, lead tracking systems (CRM/RSI), SEO, and paid advertising. • Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-location campaigns. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort in patient-facing settings. • Highly creative with strong analytical skills—able to ideate campaigns and track their performance rigorously. • Willingness to travel between locations as needed.
