Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and passionate Business/Office Administration Interns interested in gaining hands-on experience in various professional spaces. Internships are designed to support students' academic and professional growth through direct experience. Interns will have the opportunity to develop core professional competencies, support the mission of behavioral/mental health and wellness as well as contribute to impactful work alongside our experienced professionals. This is an entry-level class allowing the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of clerical functions in an Outpatient Behavioral Health Office.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day operations of assigned programs or departments.
Monitor and manage general email account.
Maintain an ongoing client records for all clients serviced.
Monthly Client Newsletter including monthly blog post.
Send out client communication as requested.
Update website (weekly or as needed).
Assist with pre-planning weekly social media posts and posting content (3x/week).
Create Admin documents for ALHW, such as in-person paperwork using templates.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an academic program (undergraduate or graduate level) and a course or elective that requires an internship.
Ability to commit to an agreed-upon schedule and meet academic/program hour requirements.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute positively to the team.
Must meet any site-specific requirements including background checks or clearances.
Familiarity with social media platforms for business purposes
A “can do” attitude and a desire to learn.
Ability to follow instructions and able to work independently.
