    Job Description

    This position is based in the Boston or San Diego office.

    Campaign Planning:

    • Own the development and end-to-end execution of year-round marketing strategies aligned to the overall business goals and objectives, as well as market-segment specific goals and objectives:
      • Prepare and present campaign plans, schedules, timelines. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plan and ensure adherence to deadlines.
      • Own the ideation, execution, and management of integrated marketing, communications, and demand generation/lead generation campaigns through digital advertising, paid media and media partnerships, email, social media, and other tactics.
      • Own the design and production of all marketing collateral determined within the marketing plan.
      • Adapt key marketing messaging and communication of value proposition(s) and own the development of supporting copy, calls to action, and customer journey for marketing and sales campaigns, based on target customer segments, campaign goals, and desired results.
      • Lead and own the marketing efforts required to execute and grow the sales efforts for our business.
      • Ensure consistent use of established branding, core value proposition messaging, imagery, and positioning across internal and external marketing materials, graphics, communications, and more; Cross-collaborate with peers in other lines of business to achieve consistent brand messaging where appropriate.

    Your Partnerships:

    • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors in the context of marketing to ensure successful participation and activations.
    • Collaborate with Informa Marketing Leads from vertical teams to identify and execute new marketing partnerships.
    • Drive alignment in messaging between Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Product teams.

    Insights & Analysis:

    • Interpret and analyse marketing/advertising campaign results and data; develop recommended strategies, timelines, and tactics to further optimize marketing spend and campaign ROI.
    • Work with Customer Success Team to better understand our customers’ business challenges, needs, and wants. Regularly report and provide results, insights to internal stakeholders.
    • Acquire a deep understanding of our existing customer base and target customer segments. Work with the team in developing personas, value propositions and messaging for each of the key segments which will inform marketing and/or sales campaigns, the evolution of our product offer(s), and more.
    • Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns.

    Reporting & Budget Management:

    • Develop status update reports for regular updates to key stakeholders on marketing campaign and initiative results, effectiveness, and ROI.
    • Manage the marketing budget for assigned projects/market segments – planning, monitoring, and reconciliation.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or relevant experience
    • Experience in progressively more complex B2B campaigns, managing campaigns independently or working as a peer in a senior marketing team.
    • Thorough understanding & experience of marketing function, planning, operations, and execution using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua), training and optimization
    • Experience of working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required), training and optimization
    • Thorough understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEO, online advertising) and content marketing
    • Budget management experience
    • Database development and growth including segmentation / personalization
    • An entrepreneurial spirit, goal-oriented and self-motivated
    • Adapts to changing situations and requirements, manages multiple deadlines and activities simultaneously
    • Out of the box thinking, willing to challenge norms and come up with fresh ideas and approaches on reaching audiences and engaging our customers
    • Able to build strong business relationships. Well-developed presentation skills
    • Problem solver, balancing stakeholder needs while maintaining brand and business objectives. Identifies roadblocks, determines fixes, and works in a team environment to implement the solutions to get to the end goal

    The salary range for this role is $65,875- $80,000 based on experience.
