As Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of all marketing and digital strategies for Sofitel Philadelphia, ensuring strong brand positioning, revenue growth, and market visibility. This role goes beyond traditional marketing to include active support of eCommerce performance across both direct and indirect channels , working closely with Revenue Management and Sales to drive demand and optimize distribution.
You will be responsible for storytelling, digital presence, campaign execution, and performance analytics, while ensuring alignment with Sofitel brand standards and Accor global strategies. This is a highly collaborative and strategic role requiring creativity, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality landscape.
As part of the Commercial team, you will play a key role in elevating the hotel’s positioning—particularly around new product launches (such as suites), F&B activation, and local market engagement—while leveraging digital tools and emerging technologies to maximize impact.
_ Key Responsibilities_
Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning
- Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing plan aligned with business objectives, brand standards, and market opportunities.
- Ensure consistent and elevated brand positioning across all touchpoints, reflecting Sofitel’s luxury identity and “art de vivre.”
- Drive storytelling and marketing initiatives, including content creation, partnerships, and experiential activations.
Digital & eCommerce Performance
- Support eCommerce strategy across direct channels (ALL.com, brand website) and indirect channels (OTAs, third-party platforms) in close collaboration with Revenue Management.
- Optimize digital performance through SEO/SEM, paid media, metasearch, and conversion strategies.
- Monitor and analyze website performance, booking trends, and digital KPIs to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure rate parity, content accuracy, and visual excellence across all distribution channels.
Campaigns & Content
- Plan, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns (rooms, F&B, events, suites, seasonal activations).
- Oversee social media strategy, content calendars, and community engagement.
- Manage content creation including photography, video, copywriting, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with agencies, influencers, and media partners to amplify reach and visibility.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, ROI, and market trends.
- Leverage data insights to continuously refine strategies and improve results.
- Provide regular updates to the leadership team on marketing and digital performance.
Commercial Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations to align strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Support key initiatives such as new product launches (e.g., suites), partnerships, and local activations.
- Contribute to pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies from a marketing perspective.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage digital tools, automation, and emerging technologies (including AI-driven marketing solutions) to enhance efficiency and personalization.
- Stay ahead of trends in luxury hospitality, digital marketing, and guest engagement.
Budget & Agency Management
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI.
- Oversee external agencies, media buying, social media and vendor relationships.
