    About Mammoth Fieldhouse

Mammoth Fieldhouse is where Southern Illinois comes to get off the bench. Pure Putt. Flight Deck. Pickleball. Battle Bats. A scratch kitchen and a full bar that would draw a crowd on their own. Open play, leagues, tournaments, and private events, all night, every night.

Three rules run our buildings: No Sidelines, No Spectators. Elite Isn't Exclusive. Competition Is Community. Everyone plays, everyone belongs, and a good time beats a good score. We do not shout. We cheer. There is a big difference, and everybody who works here learns it fast.

    About the Role

You are the voice of this building in Southern Illinois.

Mammoth Fieldhouse is new to this market, and the Marketing Manager decides how it lands. You own local brand presence, social, programming promotion, community partnerships, and the calendar that fills the slow parts of the week.

This is a hands-on single-venue marketing role, not an oversight role. You will shoot content on the floor, write the captions, run the paid spend, build the league promotion, and be in the room with local partners.

The brand voice is already built. Your job is to run it in this market without breaking it: confident, encouraging, competitive, original. We do not shout. We cheer.

    What You'll Own

    Brand and Content

Own all local social channels: content calendar, capture, posting, and community management.

Produce photo and video on the floor that looks like the brand and moves the calendar.

Hold brand standards across every local asset: menus, signage, print, digital, and third-party listings.

Own the venue's presence on review platforms and local listings, and partner with operations on response.

    Demand and Programming

Build the promotional calendar around leagues, tournaments, holidays, and the slow parts of the week.

Own local paid media spend and report on return, not impressions.

Grow the email and SMS list and run campaigns that put people in the building on named nights.

Support the Director of Sales with collateral, proposals, and lead generation for private events.

    Community

Build relationships across Marion and Southern Illinois: schools, leagues, employers, tourism, and press.

Own local partnership and sponsorship execution.

Represent the Fieldhouse at community events and in local media.

    Your First Year

First 90 Days: The market knows we exist, the channels are live and consistent, and opening demand is real.

First Year: Tuesday and Wednesday are no longer the quiet nights, and the community treats this building as theirs.

    What You Bring

3 or more years in marketing, with hands-on ownership of social content and paid local media.

A portfolio of work you personally created, not just managed.

Comfort shooting and editing photo and video on a phone at a professional standard.

Copywriting range. You can write a headline that sounds like a brand and not like a template.

Analytical honesty. You know which campaigns worked and can prove it.

Availability during evenings and weekends when the content is happening.

    Certifications

A plus if you already have it:

CPR and AED certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Our courts mean we keep a trained responder on the floor every hour we are open. Renewed every two years.

BASSET certification. Illinois requires it for anyone who sells alcohol, serves alcohol, or checks IDs, within 120 days of hire. Valid three years. Useful if you are pouring at a promo night.

We pay for every certification on this list and we give you the time to get it. If you do not have one yet, that is not a reason to skip applying.

    Preferred

Restaurant, entertainment, sports, or hospitality marketing background.

Existing relationships in the Southern Illinois market.

Experience opening a new venue or launching a brand in a new market.

    Working Conditions

Extended periods of standing and moving throughout the venue for the duration of a shift.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Facility has intermittent noise and variable lighting.

    Nights, weekends, and holidays required.

    What We Offer

Base pay of $55,000 to $70,000 annually, plus performance bonus.

Paid leave under the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. Up to 40 hours a year, usable after 90 days, for any reason you like. You do not have to tell us why.

Food, beverage, and gameplay privileges. You work here. You get to play here.

Every required certification paid for, plus the paid time to go get it.

A seat in a growing brand. More Fieldhouses are coming, and we promote the people who build them well.

    How to Apply

Send your resume and a short note telling us why this role and why this building. No cover letter template. Just tell us something true.

Mammoth Fieldhouse Marion is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on merit, character, and the ability to make people feel like they belong here. Elite isn't exclusive. Everyone plays.
