This opportunity is with a growing company in the wastewater and environmental solutions industry seeking a Marketing Leader to oversee its marketing function. With no existing marketing department, this role offers the opportunity to step in as the primary marketing leader responsible for strategy, branding, and campaign execution while supporting the sales team’s business development efforts. The position will work closely with company leadership to expand market presence, generate new client opportunities, and strengthen industry visibility. This role is well-suited for a self-directed marketing professional who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution, with the opportunity to grow into a larger marketing leadership role as the company continues to expand.
Marketing Manager / Director Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy to support growth, brand visibility, and new client acquisition.
- Partner with leadership and the sales team to develop marketing initiatives that support business development and new market expansion.
- Create and manage marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, flyers, and other sales enablement content.
- Plan and coordinate industry trade shows, conferences, and related marketing events.
- Manage the company’s online presence, including LinkedIn content, social media, and website updates.
- Ensure consistency and quality across marketing materials, branding, and messaging.
- Manage marketing campaigns from concept through execution while coordinating with external vendors for design, digital marketing, and web development support.
- CRM and marketing tools to improve sales and marketing coordination.
- Help establish marketing processes and infrastructure that can scale as the company grows.
Marketing Manager / Director Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing experience in a B2B or technical industry environment.
- Experience developing and executing marketing initiatives that support sales and business development teams.
- Strong writing, communication, and creative skills including experience developing presentations and marketing collateral.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a broad marketing scope in a growing organization.
- Experience coordinating vendors, agencies, or external partners for marketing initiatives.
- Exposure to water, wastewater, environmental, engineering, or industrial industries is strongly preferred.
