Motivation Mortgage is seeking an exceptionally organized, proactive, and detail-obsessed candidate for an entry-level Marketing Assistant role to support the planning, promotion, and execution of our marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, event planning/execution, social media management, and the creation of marketing collateral to support our growth and sales divisions.

You will work closely with Sr. Leadership and be deeply involved in event logistics, marketing execution, sponsor fulfillment, and post-event follow-up.
Core Responsibilities
Build and maintain event timelines, task lists, and run-of-show documents
Coordinate venues, vendors, speakers, sponsors, and partners
Track contracts, invoices, deposits, and payment deadlines
Confirm all event details (arrival times, load-in, signage, seating, tech needs)
Prepare detailed event day execution documents for staff and vendors
Create contingency plans for common event issues (no-shows, tech delays, weather, etc.)
Assist in executing email marketing campaigns (event announcements, reminders, follow-ups)
Schedule and manage company-wide social media accounts and content.
Coordinate with designers, videographers, and photographers
Proofread all marketing materials for accuracy, branding, clarity, and compliance
Maintain marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met
Track promotional performance (registrations, clicks, conversions)
Manage deliverables and ensure every promise is fulfilled
Track:
Logo placement
Speaking slots
Booth placements
Content inclusion
Email and social mentions
Serve as point of contact for sponsor logistics and questions
Prepare sponsor packets and on-site materials
Assist in post-event sponsor reporting (photos, metrics, recap decks)
Organize all company content (photos, videos, testimonials, clips)
Tag, label, and store assets for future marketing use
Assist in coordinating post-event content distribution
Ensure brand consistency across all assets
Help identify standout moments and content opportunities from events
Coordinate attendee follow-up emails and surveys
Help compile post-event recap documents
Track KPIs such as:
Attendance
Sponsor ROI
Lead capture
Content produced
Maintain and update CRM or contact lists
Assist in nurturing leads generated from events
Maintain internal systems, folders, and documentation
Keep projects organized inside task management tools
Anticipate needs before being asked
Handle miscellaneous marketing and event-related tasks as needed
Act as a communication bridge between the Owner and vendors/partners
Required Skills & Traits
Must-Haves:
Extreme attention to detail (you catch typos, timing gaps, and missing pieces instinctively)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and task prioritization
Comfort juggling multiple events and deadlines at once
Ability to follow systems and improve them
Calm under pressure, especially on event days
Strong social skills, ability to network in a group setting
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools
Willingness to travel locally, set up/take down events, and the ability to lift 25lbs
Preferred Experience
1–3 years in marketing, events, operations, or administrative support
Experience with:
Event platforms (Eventbrite, Splash, etc.)
Email marketing tools
Social media scheduling tools
Content Creation Tools (Canva, Sora, etc)
Experience working with sponsors or partners is a plus
