    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that generate leads and build awareness of the Storm Guard brand for the Charlotte and Durham, NC locations. This role will manage marketing campaigns across multiple digital and traditional channels, create engaging content, support brand consistency, and monitor performance metrics to drive marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering measurable results.

    Key Responsibilities: • Execute local and regional marketing campaigns in alignment with Storm Guard’s brand and business goals. • Manage content creation and scheduling for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). • Coordinate direct mail and digital advertising campaigns with our partners and home office team. • Track and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, CRM reporting (e.g., Acculynx), and social media insights through our marketing portals.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead source tracking and reporting to measure ROI in our CRM. • Oversee third-party lead generation partners to ensure quality and accurate reporting. • Monitor and respond to customer reviews to support online reputation management. • Collaborate with vendors, media partners, and the Storm Guard Home Office team to ensure consistent branding and messaging. • Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve campaigns. • Participate in BNI or other local networking activities.

    • Some overnight travel will be required. (1-2 days a month)

    Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a small business or franchise environment. • Proficiency in social media platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus (e.g., Canva) • Knowledge of SEO and digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is a plus.

    Compensation: • Base Salary: $45,000–$55,000, based on experience • Performance bonus opportunities based on lead growth and campaign results • Paid time off and access to professional development resources
