United Franchise Group is hiring a Marketing Manager for The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. This is someone who is innovative, a relationship builder, forward-thinking, and both tactically and strategically minded. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the major marketing tactics for the brand at a national and local level. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the restaurant industry, with a strong concentration in digital, social and online media, as well as traditional local store marketing PR and grand openings. Ability to use graphics & video programs desired.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to and supporting the Head of Marketing.
- Co-managing the various agency and technology partners to hold them accountable for maximum performance and ROI.
- Monitor traditional and digital marketing strategies; periodically reviewing for maximum efficiency, and ROAS / ROI. Be willing to pause, change or cancel media that is not showing a solid return. Be willing to ideate on new media / marketing opportunities.
- Ongoing ideation and implementation of Grand Openings across multiple geographies. Maximize pre-opening, Grand Opening and ongoing sales momentum focused on the success of the franchisee.
- Evaluate marketing strategies of current franchisees, identifying effective campaigns and determining how to share best practices with all franchisees.
- Create newsletters, manage ongoing CRM as well as overall Brand Team communication to the field.
- Assist HOM overseeing our National Advertising Fund and consult with Franchisees on marketing initiatives both brand wide and localized plans.
- Serve as a knowledge-based point person with our marketing vendors / partners.
- Monitor online advertisements and content created by digital marketing agencies; ensuring that ads are compliant and meet a standard of excellence.
- Hands on approach with designs and video including Adobe, Microsoft, and other platforms.
- Monitor brand websites: periodically reviewing for content and image updates, suggesting additional site pages, ensuring site is optimized for maximum SEO.
- Oversee all website updates as pertains to the marketing the brand.
- Develop ongoing digital marketing training/education for current and new franchisees.
- Drive & help develop additional video content to all brand/company websites and social platforms.
- Monitor the brand’s social media involvement; prioritizing social media platforms and developing strategies (along with digital marketing agencies) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership.
- Participate in “Discovery Day Tours” to help educated prospective franchisees on the brand.
