Marketing Manager for an Industry Leading Lighting Company
Our client is an industry-leading lighting company. They’re seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Manager to oversee marketing efforts for their luxury residential channel. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping how integrators specify and experience the company’s products. This person will be responsible for executing strategic digital campaigns and leading strategy across sales enablement, events, and education programs.
This is an in-person role in Carson (Los Angeles area), California.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a marketing strategy for the Technology Integrator channel from the ground up, targeting partnerships with trade groups, rep firms, and integration leaders
- Create and carry out digital, traditional, and PR campaign strategies (everything from email/social to new product launches) designed to drive adoption and foster channel loyalty
- Serve as the face of the company at integrator events and trade shows, managing everything from demos to messaging to lead capture
- Work cross-functionally with different departments to create marketing collateral and selling tools such as sell sheets, demo kits, training materials, videos, and presentations
- Support channel education by championing dealer and ambassador programs, working with the Education team to highlight the company’s standout innovations in a way that appeals to integrators
- Engage personally with key dealers to uncover and understand unmet needs, collect feedback, and inform future campaign enhancements
- Define KPIs, monitoring and reporting results on a regular basis to inform campaign optimization, refine messaging strategy, and grow engagement for the integrator channel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar, strongly preferred
- 5-8+ years of experience in channel or product marketing, ideally with a background in lighting, smart home, building materials, technology integration, or similar industries
- Strong understanding of buyer journeys, integrator workflows, and sales cycles
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product/engineering teams as well as external partners (show vendors, rep firms, etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of planning, managing, and executing marketing campaigns across both digital and physical channels
- Best-in-class organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to wear multiple hats and juggle competing priorities
- Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and growth rather than waiting around for direction
- Analytical mindset, with experience tracking results optimizing campaigns, and meeting KPIs
- Proficient with office and marketing tools such as MS Suites, G-Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.
- Ability to travel a few times per year for trade shows (up to a week at a time)
Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $95-$120k, plus bonus
