    Job Description

    Assist attorneys for Universal Destinations & Experiences with review of a wide range of marketing and advertising collateral across all channels, including marketing toolkits, press releases, websites, mobile applications, and social media content to ensure compliance with FTC and marketing laws, trademarks, rights of privacy/rights of publicity, intellectual property license agreements, and corporate guidelines. Review scripts and storyboards for social media, radio and television commercials. Review and prepare first-draft product and offer terms and conditions, deal memos, and boilerplate marketing contracts including disclosures, promotions/sweepstakes rules and agreements, advertising orders, waivers/releases/indemnity agreements, and other marketing and advertising related agreements, and revise based on attorney and client feedback. Draft correspondence. Track deadlines. Maintain contract files. Manage clearance lists, training materials, and guidelines.

    Assist in monitoring compliance with company-wide policies and initiatives related to customer data, privacy and security. Act as a first point of contact for general day-to-day inquiries and as a filter to facilitate answers to queries across all internal departments as needed. Perform additional tasks as directed.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of in-house experience with a general focus on marketing/advertising, intellectual property and internet-related/privacy matters, preferably in the entertainment industry.
    • Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
    • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Previous experience related to marketing/advertising, particularly in digital marketing and social media, is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.
    • Highly collaborative team player who thrives in a results-oriented environment and works effectively through partnership and shared goals.
    • Demonstrates professionalism, diplomacy and sound judgment when interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Dependable, resourceful, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
