Job Description

MPG is looking for an experienced Advertising Account Executive for our Boca Raton, FL office.   The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day administration of marketing and advertising initiatives for assigned Clients. Candidates must have previous experience as an Account Executive or  traditional Media Buyer in an Advertising Agency or Marketing Firm.  They should be able to understand, explain and evaluate traditional and digital paid media opportunities; and provide strong, clear input to internal buyers and to clients.   The ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience managing budgets, have strong presentation skills and be able to foster excellent client/agency relationships.  They should also be familiar with and able to utilize a variety of applicable metrics and analytics.  Candidates must demonstrate an ability to multi-task and handle a variety of accounts at one time. Some travel may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in developing media strategies that will support client business goals.
• Gather and analyze pertinent data, information and research
• Work with Media Planning/Buying teams in development of media plans
• Present media recommendations to client and gain timely Client approval to all proposals/recommendations/plans.
• Attend all weekly/monthly client planning calls, developing specific goals for each call and publishing accurate call reports to Buying team and Management.
• Provide ongoing reporting of results, implications and recommended action steps.
• Provide timely and accurate direction to Media Planners and Buyers regarding changes in plans/budgets per Client direction
• Monitor and report competitive actions and/or media initiatives

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience at an Advertising Agency or in-house marketing department as an AE or Media Buyer is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
