    The Bryan Schmidt Group at Preferred Rate is a high-performing mortgage team based in Chicagoland. Our business is built on relationships, referrals, and trust — not gimmicks or rate-chasing. Our goal is simple but demanding: • Convert 2% of our database into closed referrals or repeat business every month • Build and support 40 high-quality real estate agent partners • Turn every closed loan into at least one referral and one new relationship We are looking for a sharp, organized, execution-obsessed professional to run our marketing and relationship engine. This role is responsible for executing, organizing, and optimizing all database marketing, referral partner communication, and content delivery — so nothing slips, nothing gets stale, and everything stays compliant. You are not the face of the brand — you are the engine behind it. Responsibilities: Weekly Content & Communication Execution • Manage and distribute weekly mortgage market content (news, insights, emails, video scripts) Prepare and deploy: • Weekly value-based emails, Social media content ideas, Video scripts (past clients + real estate agents) Ensure all content is: • Respectful, concise, professional, and helpful, fully compliant with state mortgage regulations and the Fair Housing Act, Referral-focused and direct-response driven Database & CRM Management Maintain clean, accurate CRM data, including: • Contact info, Social media profiles, Tags/segments (past clients, COIs, agents, leads, pre-approvals) • Track and organize: Deals in process, Pre-approvals, Active leads, Past referral partners, New and prospective agent partners • Ensure proper segmentation so the right message goes to the right audience Referral & Relationship Marketing Support • Support quarterly calls, annual reviews, and ongoing outreach campaigns • Coordinate referral follow-ups after closings • Assist with: Client appreciation initiatives, Educational events or classes, Agent partner engagement campaigns • Track referral sources and outcomes to ensure accountability Process, Systems & Automation • Own the execution calendar — nothing is “remembered,” everything is scheduled • Help refine workflows so marketing runs consistently and automatically • Coordinate with Bryan to improve systems, messaging, and timing • Flag bottlenecks, missed opportunities, or engagement drop-offs Qualifications: You will thrive in this role if you: • Love organization, systems, and execution • Enjoy working closely with a high-performing loan officer • Prefer being behind the scenes rather than presenting or selling • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable • Take pride in making complex systems feel simple and smooth Required Skills & Experience • Experience in marketing, operations, or CRM management (mortgage or real estate a plus) • Strong written communication skills • Comfortable working with CRMs, email platforms, and social tools • Close attention to detail and follow-through • Ability to manage recurring deadlines without reminders Compensation: $58,000 - $65,000 yearly
