Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Sales Executive to drive business development and client acquisition for CMS across New York City as well as Nassau and Suffolk County Long Island. This is an in-person role focused on meeting and servicing construction companies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both sales and marketing, with at least 10+ years of hands-on marketing experience.
This role is critical to expanding our client base, building long-term partnerships, and positioning CMS as the go-to marketing partner for construction businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with construction companies across Long Island and NYS.
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and solution-based discussions with executives and decision-makers.
- Present and sell CMS marketing services, including branding, social media management, SEO, paid advertising, and lead generation campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative sales and ongoing account management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure services align with client goals and expectations.
- Track leads, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Represent CMS with professionalism and expertise in marketing solutions for construction.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with proven success in sales.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies such as SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.
- Experience creating or selling marketing campaigns that deliver measurable ROI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in an in-person, client-facing role.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction industry workflows and challenges (a plus).
- Prior experience selling marketing or digital solutions to construction companies.
- Established network within the construction or marketing industries.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000 base salary + commission-based compensation.
