Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing & Sales Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in promoting the Deer Run brand, expanding our retail and wholesale presence, and representing the winery at public events. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about wine, hospitality, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies that align with Deer Run’s brand.

Represent Deer Run Winery at public events

Build and maintain wholesale accounts with local restaurants, bars, and retailers.

Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials, etc.

Assist with public relations, including media outreach and partnerships with local tourism organizations.

Track campaign success and contribute creative ideas for promotions and product launches.

Support tasting room operations and winery events as needed.

Presence required on site during events to capture marketing materials.

Qualifications

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience in marketing, sales, or public relations preferred.

Familiarity with social media marketing and content creation tools.

Experience with excel spreadsheets and digital tools.

Experience with meta and google ads.

Ability to work weekends and attend on and offsite events.

Outgoing personality with a genuine enthusiasm for wine and hospitality.

Must be 21 years or older.
