We're searching for a Marketing Copywriting Intern to help write and proofread a variety of inbound marketing content. The ideal candidate for this role can work both independently and collaboratively with our creative team, leadership team, and project manager. If you can balance multiple projects at a time, quickly turn around tasks on tight deadlines, and want to grow your skills in B2B content marketing, we might just be a great match!
Responsibilities
Create, edit, proof content targeted at managed service providers, value-added resellers, cloud service providers, vendors, and partner companies in the high-tech B2B space
Advance Marketopia’s business internally and externally as a quality-control specialist for all created content
Strict adherence to the in-house style guide
Contribute to client meetings
Collaboration with digital and CSC teams to optimize content
Skills & Basic Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program; majoring in English, Writing, Journalism, or similar
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
Meet fast-paced and varied deadlines
Apply best practices including active voice, customer-focused language and solution-based content
Must be able to commit to 15+ hours per week
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
Collaborative, creative spirit
Conversion-first writing style
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
Experience/Coursework
Content/blog writing
An understanding of inbound marketing, the client journey, and the basics of modern content marketing
Proven ability to troubleshoot and detect potential issues and implement appropriate solutions to minimize the impact on timeline, budget, or business operations
Proven ability to assess/evaluate requirements against the scope of projects, manage project plans and adhere to a schedule
Experience with MS Office tools and ability to grasp concepts and technology quickly and confidently
