    About The Company

Built In One is a revolutionary technology startup on a mission to unify, simplify, and build the future of the gig economy. We are disrupting the traditional industry by creating a seamless, app-based marketplace that connects customers with reliable, on-demand gig worker professionals. We are fast-paced, data-driven, and people-first.

    About The Team

The Operations & Supply Management team is the engine room of Built In One. We ensure that whenever a customer taps 'Book,' there is a qualified, vetted, and motivated Built In One gig worker ready to help. We are aggressive problem solvers who balance supply and demand metrics to keep the marketplace healthy and growing.

    About the Role

As a Marketplace Operations Analyst, you are the strategic balancer of our ecosystem. Your primary mission is to minimize lost revenue by ensuring we have the right number of workers (Supply) available exactly when and where customers are booking jobs (Demand). You will monitor real-time data, analyze geographic and temporal trends, and provide the actionable insights needed to reduce unfulfilled requests and maximize market efficiency. You make sure the marketplace 'clears.'

    What You'll Do

    • Supply-to-Demand (SDR) Monitoring: Closely monitor real-time dashboards to track the Supply-to-Demand Ratio across different geographic zones and time windows. You will identify 'hotspots' where demand exceeds supply and 'cold zones' where workers are sitting idle.
    • Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze historical data to identify customer demand behaviors (e.g., 'Demand spikes in Zone A on Friday mornings'). Use these insights to predict future coverage needs.
    • Coverage Balancing: Provide immediate recommendations to the Supply Acquisition team to direct recruitment efforts towards undersupplied areas or times.
    • Revenue Protection: minimizing unfulfilled booking requests is your North Star. You will investigate why specific jobs weren't paired and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
    • Incentive Strategy: Recommend dynamic pricing or driver incentives to mobilize supply during peak demand hours or inclement weather.
    • Reporting: Generate daily and weekly reports on marketplace health metrics (Fill Rate, Cancellation Rate, Average Pickup Time) for leadership review.

    Basic Qualifications (What You'll Need)

    • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Operations Analysis, Data Analysis, Logistics Coordination, or a similar data-heavy role.
    • Analytical Mindset: You love numbers. You can look at a spreadsheet or dashboard and immediately spot the anomaly or the trend.
    • Excel/Sheets Mastery: Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting) is non-negotiable. You use data to tell a story.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: You don't just report problems; you suggest solutions. (e.g., 'We are short on pet care gig workers in Tampa at 5 PM EST; let's push a notification.')
    • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work US business hours (Graveyard Shift in PH) to monitor live marketplace dynamics.

    Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points If)

    • Marketplace Experience: Experience working with two-sided marketplaces (Uber, Grab, Foodpanda, Airbnb) and understanding concepts like 'surge pricing' or 'utilization rates.'
    • Visualization Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio.
    • SQL Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL to query databases directly.

    Why Join Us?

    • Strategic Impact: Your analysis directly affects the company's bottom line. You help us stop leaving money on the table.
    • Data-Driven Culture: We don't guess; we measure. You will be in an environment that values your analytical skills.
    • Innovation: Help build the algorithms and logic that will eventually automate marketplace balancing.
