JOB SUMMARY

Marki Microwave is looking for an experienced and highly skilled finance leader, that has succeeded as a Business Partner to Manufacturing and Supply Chain management. As the Business Partner to manufacturing management, you will be the subject matter expert in all finance-related topics including, but not limited to, supporting management of a production P&L, cost accounting, and inventory management. In specific, you will help to identify, analyze, and drive cost improvement initiatives to improve product gross margins.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Finance Business Partner to manufacturing management
• Implementation and support management of a production P&L
• Supporting the definition, evaluation and implementation of manufacturing efficiency programs and initiatives to drive gross margin improvement
• Drive cost transparency on all levels to support financial evaluations, cost comparisons and cost accounting 
• Support the performance of time studies, financial evaluation of changes to production routing 
• Defining relevant KPIs and support performance review/management process to drive towards defined targets

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND AND PROFILE

• Worked in a technical role, initially, then transitioned into a Finance/Accounting role or worked as a Finance person as a liaison/business partner supporting Operations organizations (i.e., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA)  
• Fluent in technical jargon, experience with dynamics and challenges of production environments, through either deep specific industry expertise or based on experience collected in different roles and potentially in varying manufacturing/production environments
• Excellent understanding of finance routines, principles and on cost accounting
• Solid experience in running a production P&L, target setting/review and in supporting the achievement of production cost-, as well as material cost reductions
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience in presenting complex data
• Logical, abstract thinker and passionate problem solver, that has the ability to dissect complex issues, support process re-engineering and to simplify
• Natural sense that enables them to detect problems, unusual complexity, and broken business processes
• Hands-on, humble, natural curiosity and a strong interest in and understanding of technology
• True team player, open communication style
• Target oriented, committed, high degree of integrity, used to work under time pressure to meet challenging deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Bachelor’s Degree (Finance and/or Electrical Engineering) from a four-year college or university required
• MBA or accounting degree (CMA) preferred
• 10 to 15 years in/or through finance support roles for (ideally different) manufacturing environments (Semiconductor, Electrical components)
• Expert level in Excel, good handling of all other Microsoft Office applications and very good ERP system expertise (SAGE preferred, Oracle, Workday or SAP) is critical
