O&G company in Houston seeking a Jr Accounting Analyst to join a small team. This person will be the only analyst on staff with direct mentorship under the Controller and exposure to the CEO and CFO. This position will be accounting focused, with some cross training in finance. This position will offer tremendous growth opportunity and is an immediate hire! 

Responsibilities:

• Account reconciliations
• Journal entries
• General ledgers
• Month end closing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Oil and Gas experience highly desirable (upstream preferred)
• 1+ years of experience
