We are currently seeking qualified, energetic, and resourceful interns (or part-time workers) to join our awesome company for a PAID internship/ seasonal need! We are conveniently located in Greenville, SC right off I-85 so this internship is ideal for college students in Upstate SC.

Pay is $13 per hour if no customer service experience (or $14 with experience).  In addition, there are opportunities for overtime if you want extra hours and pay!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Fall Intern/Part-time Seasonal role supporting Customer Support should be highly motivated, energetic and organized. This individual is expected to effectively communicate with customers via various channels such as phone, text, email, chat, and social media. Looking for individuals who value customer service, apply effort, and work well with others to achieve goals.

CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with customers via various channels such as phone, text, email, chat, and social while achieving the expected number of contacts per hour.
• Respond to customers needs regarding existing orders.
• Recommend products and provide suggestions for product personalization
• Resolve minor customer concerns using company protocol and procedures
• Process and resolve customers returns within return policy guidelines
• Initiate correspondence and follow-up with customers regarding order fulfillment
• Reviewing existing orders for potential discrepancies
• Ability to work within a team environment to achieve department goals
• Handling various clerical tasks within the department
• Specific hours/ days of the week may vary - A MINIMUM OF 20 HOURS PER WEEK ARE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS

• Should be in process of obtaining a Bachelors Degree or two-year degree 
• Must be an excellent communicator - both verbal and written
• High organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Microsoft 365 preferred
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 45 WPM typing score

Marleylilly Internship Guidelines & Expectations

Here's some helpful information about our Fall internships/ Part-time Seasonal roles:

The goal for our Fall Interns/ Part-time Seasonal help is to begin working at Marleylilly in late August/ early September so there is time to train before our busiest time of the year.

Most of our Fall interns/seasonal help are with us during our incredibly busy and exciting Peak Season! 45% of our annual business is between October 1 - December 31.

This is not a sedentary role where you will stay behind a desk all day, every day. We are a fast-moving company - so get ready to hustle! While you may be selected for one particular internship, all of our team members pitch in wherever we are needed so you may get to rotate through a variety of roles, based on business needs.

Specific hours vary by department/ business need.  Typical total hours worked per week during the fall/ Peak season will be approximately 20-40 hours per week, with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week. Since its Peak Season, you may be offered the opportunity to work overtime and make some extra $$$. 

Cell phone use should be kept to a minimum. If you're hooked all day to your phone, this isn't the internship for you!

You will get out of this internship/seasonal role what you put in! If you ask questions, offer to help whenever/wherever needed, and work hard - you will have an incredibly rewarding experience. You are going to work hard, learn a lot, and have fun while you're doing it!
