JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Experience with answering high-call volume
· 3+ years in a customer service role
· Knowledge of medical billing practices
· Knowledge of billing practices, clinical policies and procedures
· Read and understand an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
· Knowledge of medical insurances and insurance types
· Ability to pass a background check and drug screen at time of hire
PLUSES
· Bilingual
· Experience with Occupational Medicine
BILLING ACCOUNT SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answering questions surrounding patients billing statements and general questions
· Explaining EOB and insurances to patients calling in
· Assist revenue cycle services with resolution of billing issues and/or denials requiring clinical expertise, participating in external audit requests, and special projects as needed
