*TECHNICAL WRITER (3-6 month contract Onsite)

The Technical Writer is responsible for:

1. Authors and publishing Qualification Test Plan and Test Reports, Government Defense Logistic Agency (DLA) Qualified Products List (QPL) Retention of Approval Period Test Reports, Manufacturing and Acceptance Test Plans and Reports (MTP-MTR/ATP-ATR) in support of Production, Manufacturing Job Instructions (MJI’s), and procedures/technical documents supporting the Business Management System.
2. Analyzes test data to produce complex test reports to customer specifications including charts, test summaries, failure analysis summaries, etc.
3. Other duties, as assigned, supporting Environmental Lab, Engineering, Production and Quality.

Basic Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience technical writing in the Aerospace Industry
• Ability to read and interpret complex electronic schematics
• Familiar with avionics hardware and component specifications, e.g., RTCA-DO-160, MIL-STD-202, MIL-PRF-6106, MIL-PRF-83536, MIL-PRF-83726, etc.
• Intermediate MS Office computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
