Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented patient records with a quality of documentation that meets facility and licensing standards • Participate in clinical team meetings on a weekly basis, and engage with community organizations • Perform intake and needs assessments for individuals, significant others, and family members through testing, interviews, observations, and conversation sessions • Utilize solution-focused therapy strategies to provide mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children • Participate in the development, implementation, and assessment of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a variety of behavioral health concerns • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients Qualifications: • Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support) • Must have 1-3 years of marriage and family therapy experience in a clinical setting • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or the equivalent is required • Superb problem-solving and analytical skills are required, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master’s degree • Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist • Experience working with couples and families is strongly preferred • Strong understanding of family systems techniques and interventions • Experience with addictions and/or trauma-informed care is a plus Compensation: $72,000 - $125,000 yearly
