Job Summary We are seeking a provisionally licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. In this capacity you will have a balance of autonomy while gaining required supervision and overall training to become a fully licensed clinician
Responsibilities
Perform intake assessments
Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
Create individualized treatment plans for each client
Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
Perform regular wellness checks
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications
Previous experience as a marriage and family therapist preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
Must be graduated from masters and eligible for limited permit
