SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a highly driven and motivated sales professional to fill our Business Development Manager position. This position will primarily focus on new business-to-business development with a heavy emphasis on networking and prospecting for the Cincinnati market. Additional responsibilities include, prospecting, cold calling, prospect meetings, presenting programs, building your network, trade group participation and meeting sales goals.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating revenue and meeting sales targets
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects in target markets that are a good match for the company’s services; researches and analyzes sales options.
- Gathering and utilizing business intelligence on prospects to support cold calls, presentations and new business generation
- Maintains and updates sales database to qualify leads, and to track the development of the sales process with those who are good prospects.
- Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommends solutions; prepares effective bids and proposals.
- Grows relationships with clients by providing support and selling additional services
- Identifies opportunities for growth by remaining current on industry trends, market activity, and competitors.
- Prepares reports for executive review by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains brand integrity by adhering to organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and/or participating in professional organizations.
- Contributes to the development of marketing and sales strategy; participates in marketing activities.
- Meet metrics for daily prospecting activity
- Maintain CRM for sales and pipeline tracking

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in janitorial, facilities services or closely related service-based industry
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B or B2D development experience
- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial
LOCATION
COMPENSATION
- 50K - 60K Base
- 50% of 100% of Base in Commission
