Marshall Reddick is looking for a driven, reliable Property Accounting Manager to join our team. We need an organized, detail-oriented individual who has led accounting teams and is able to communicate effectively and cross-functionally. In this role, you will oversee a team of accountants who are performing full-cycle property accounting, while also being responsible for managing a property portfolio. If you are a task-oriented leader who appreciates structure and detailed work, this role is for you. The person selected for this role will work remotely in the Philippines. A laptop, high-speed internet connection, and a dedicated home workspace are required. Shift: Monday - Friday, 12:00 am PHT - 9:00 am PHT (8:00 am PST - 5:00 pm PST) Compensation: $15USD - $19USD/hourly Responsibilities: • Manage and take accountability for a team of property management Accountants • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment • Conduct weekly team meetings and provide training and oversight to the accounting team • Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures • Take direction well but exercise good, independent judgment when necessary • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements for assigned properties • Communicate with clients • Review general ledgers for accounts receivables and accounts payables to ensure accuracy • Understanding of profit and loss statements • Tenant/Owner on-boarding and off-boarding • Prepare tenant adjustments as necessary • Handle and review bank deposits • Auditing and bank reconciliation • Filing and documenting historical records • Retrieve utility invoices from the online portal • Enter invoices into the property management software, AppFolio • Issue utility payments • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned Qualifications: • Fluent in English to include written and verbal communication • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant accounting experience • 2+ years' experience managing a team of accountants • 4+ years' experience in property management accounting to include knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations • AppFolio Property Management software experience is a huge plus • Organization and time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Self-motivated and willing to put forth extra effort consistently Compensation: $15 - $19 hourly
