Job Description

In the Contact Manager role, primary expectations are to increase an agency’s policies by contacting potential prospects primarily via the telephone. Using scripts, Contact Managers contact and inform prospects of the company's products or services for the purpose of securing sales appointments for agents or Agency Producers. Contact Managers are responsible for building a network through various channels and capitalizing on prospecting opportunities by utilizing multiple marketing strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to deliver prepared sales discussions, that persuade potential prospects to secure an appointment with agent/Agency Producer.
• Obtain basic prospect information as well as current insurance and risk information
• Maintain records of contacts and activity
• Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals
• Telephone or write letters/e-mails in response to correspondence from customers, or to follow up on initial sales contacts
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma required.
• Ideal candidate will have basic PC and basic math skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
