JOB DESCRIPTION

Plaintiff's Law firm seeks a competent and diligent associate attorney to assist attorney in all phases of litigation and trial. All applicants must have an attention for detail, be dependable and produce consistent work product.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• First-party property insurance experience a plus.

• Experience with drafting discovery, demand letters, motion, pleadings and other documents.

• Candidate must be organized and able to multitask in a high volume/fast paced environment. The ability to think critically and independently is essential to this role.

• Candidate must also be familiar with the Federal and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.

• Experience working in multiple jurisdictions is a plus.

• Must be tech savvy.

• Must be able to understand moderately complex legal concepts.

• Must be able to write clearly and succinctly.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• legal research

• drafting motions, pleadings and other correspondence

• reviewing files for potential issues

• reviewing discovery

• drafting or answering discovery

• corresponding with clients and opposing counsel

• attending hearings, mediation and depositions

• other tasks as needed
