Job Description
We are looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to ensure we continue providing efficient legal support in our probate, conservatorship, guardianship and trust administration services.
Responsibilities:
● Communicate with clients, gathering necessary information and documents to begin opening a case.
● Preparing and filing probate and trust documents in the administration of an estate or trust.
● Coordinating with attorneys regarding their case and various hearings.
● Drafting deeds for the transfer of property.
Skills:
● Computer literate and be familiar with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Word Perfect and legal software.
● Detail oriented.
● Organizational skills.
● Able to transition from one task to another easily.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Always willing to continue to learn.
Education:
● Certification or associate degree in paralegal studies is preferred.
