MARTIN CHEVROLET PARTS DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING FOR A PARTS DELIVERY DRIVER!
Responsibilities
EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY ENSURE DELIVERY PARAMETERS ARE MET:
Pull and Invoice parts for delivery to customers.
Load delivery vehicle with parts in a manner to prevent damage.
Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
Picks up and delivers parts to wholesale accounts.
Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD’s
Unloads truck after shift is complete
Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts and returns.
Pulls and prepares next day deliveries
Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
Helps with stocking to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
Keeps a timely shuttle route
Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership.
Notifies parts manager of any servicing the delivery vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Desired: Minimum of 1 year in position of Delivery Driver or similar positions in the automotive industries.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills (Bi-lingual in another language besides English is an asset in this position)
. * Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record. Degree/Diploma High School Diploma/GED : Required Licenses Required Valid CA Driver License
