    -1ST SHIFT, MONDAY - FRIDAY, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

    -2ND SHIFT, MONDAY - FRIDAY, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

    -2ND SHIFT: 6% ADDED TO AN HOURLY WAGE

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    In this role, you will be involved in the machining of metal parts and operating industrial machine tools to complete customer orders for a dynamic product line supporting various applications in industries such as agriculture, industrial conveyor systems, and power transmission. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks.

    Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.

    Setup and operate manual lathes to process components.

    Install machine fixtures to assure safe operation of the machine.

    Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner.

    Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.

    Open to expand knowledge in manufacturing processes.

    Work in other areas or departments as assigned.

    Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

    What are we looking for?

    We're looking for engaged individuals that are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning and enjoy working with others.

    KEY COMPETENCIES:

    Have at least one year of experience setting up and running manual lathes.

    Able to read blueprints, including standard dimensioning practices, tolerances, etc.

    Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and a tape measure

    Communicate professionally with machinists, supervisors, and managers

    Strong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals. Must also be able to convert fractions to decimals.

    Read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English

    Consistently stand for an entire shift

    Work with others and be a team player
