We are growing fast, and we need a criminal law attorney who can hit the ground running. We need an attorney with experience in criminal law. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you absolutely must be able to work 40 hours per week. There will be a base salary DOQ and an opportunity for bonus compensation. Responsibilities: • Appear in criminal court • Supervise paralegals, law clerks, and administrative personnel • Determine a course of action to meet client objectives after analysis • Receptivity to high-pressure situations • Attendances at OFP and HRO hearings • Bilingualism in Spanish an asset Qualifications: • Minnesota bar license • Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed criminal attorney (prosecutor or defense) • Proven experience with criminal law and court appearances • A good moral and professional reputation • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to think critically and solve complex legal problems • Organizational and time-management skills • A self-starter with the capacity to work independently • Flexible scheduling capability • Attention to detail • Ability to multi-task • Spanish language fluency is a plus Compensation: $105,000 - $140,000 yearly
