Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in furniture procurement and high-end residential interior design
- Proficient with Revit, Adobe Creative Suites, G Suite, Sketchup, Enscape.
- Relationships with furniture makers, showrooms, and local vendors/trades a plus
- Ability to start immediately
- Eligible to work in the US
- Valid California Driver's license
Responsibilities
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment including the provision of contract documentation to facilitate pricing, procurement, and installation of items.
- Coordinate and oversee on-site installations with movers and subcontractors.
- Prepare specifications and schedules with accurate product information for all furniture, plumbing, appliances, lighting, and finishes.
- Assist and oversee the production of presentation materials, maintenance of specification sheets, and purchase logs.
- Coordinate and communicate between several different teams and within each project.
- Manage communication with various vendors from specifying through purchasing and installation/delivery.
- Effectively and accurately document and complete purchases. Coordinate client invoicing with in-house financial team.
- Work closely with the principal designer on projects in all phases.
- Prepare construction documents, consisting of plans, elevations, details, and specifications, to illustrate structural and non-structural elements, power locations, reflected ceiling plans, and lighting designs. Ability to field measure and document building conditions.
- Coordination and collaboration with other design professionals who may be retained to provide professional services, including but not limited to upholstery, drapery, painters, cabinetmakers, and wallpaper installers.
