Seeking caring, loving student with good driving record to help after school with children, ages 3, 6, and 8. We leave right near George Mason University. The year ahead will mark the third year since we lost our loving husband and father, Tim. After his sudden and unexpected death (from complications of an undiagnosed cancer), our village of support has grown to include family, friends, neighbors, and the consistency of an au pair. Unfortunately, as we said good bye to our wonderful au pair from last year, the au pair we planned to host this year withdrew from the program. As we find ourselves with a gap in support, we seek support from proactive, patient, fun, loving nanny to transport children, play, support homework, cook/serve dinner, and help build a household of love and support. We love music, art, dancing, lots of sports, playing in the backyard or cul-de-sac in good weather, swimming, movies, reading, and cooking/baking together. Tentative schedule would be Monday through Friday 5-8pm. Flexibility - all 5 days not necessary. Some weekend hours as needed/available. Occasional help for sick days, Government holidays, or snow days desired. Also open to live-in situation, with fully finished basement, private bathroom and small kitchenette provided.
