HR Field Assistant Marz Farms Inc. - Camarillo, CA 93012 $18 - $20 an
hour The Human Resources Field Employee Relations Specialist is
accountable for overseeing all of the Employee Relations concerns,
disputes and resolutions. The Employee Relations Specialist is
responsible for the reporting, tracking and preventing of all employee
complaints while maintaining an ethical and healthy work environment
through management trainings and employee relation activities. The
Employee Relations Specialist supports and collaborates with the Human
Resources Administrative Supervisor and the Payroll Manager to ensure
that employee related processes are conducted smoothly on a daily basis.
Employee Relations * Evaluates and provides resolutions to human
relations and labor relations problems while collaborating with Ranch
Managers to determine appropriate action. * Administers disciplinary
consequences to employees when violations of company polices are
committed. * Investigates activities of subordinations, rumors,
accusations or complaints made my employees. * Develops employee
relations policies and procedures including disciplinary action
guidelines by providing proposals and including all operations affected.
- Ensures that policies are being updated to facilitate processes
internally for administrative staff and externally for field staff *
Administers and oversees end of the year events that include BBQs,
raffles, games and prizes that emphasize on processes in Employee
Relations, Workers Compensation, HR Payroll, Food Safety and Production.
Reporting * Ensures that reports pertaining to Employee Relations,
Infractions, Complaints, Warnings and Investigations are being completed
by the deadline timeframe. * Prepares and issues weekly reports that
reflect management and crew trainings, by company, location, supervisor,
and crew. Trainings * Administers trainings related to Work Ethics,
Disciplinary Actions, Fraud, Work Violence and other Employee Relation
topics on a biweekly basis with Crew Coordinators and Ranch Managers.
Workers Compensation * Supports the Workers Compensation Department by
transporting employees to clinics and follow up appointments. * Tracks
injuries, fills out appropriate paperwork and communicates with the HR
Field department regarding tasks completed. Other * Complete other
duties / projects as assigned. Requirements: Education Bachelors Degree
in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sociology or related field
or related certifications that are equivalent to a Bachelors Degree are
preferred. Associates degree and High School Diploma a must. Job
Experience Must have at least 3 years experience working in the Human
Resources department with knowledge of: * Managing and tracking of
employee relation complaints and resolutions. * Work Violence and Sexual
Harassment. * Employee Relations training, development, and
administration. * Coordinating and administering staff events. Language
Skills Must be able to speak, read & write in English & Spanish. Ability
to communicate in Mixteco is a plus. Computer Skills Good knowledge of
