    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

     

    JOB SUMMARY

    The primary function of the Loan Processor is to ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by our loan officers. Responsibilities include: Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing. Input proper loan information into the system for processing. Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete accurate verified and complies with company policy. Verify loan documents including income credit appraisal and title insurance ultimately preparing application for submittal to underwriting. Review file documentation and make sure all items needed are requested. Order and coordinate loan documents. Meet crucial deadlines requested.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • CUSTOMER SERVICE _     - Serve as initial point of contact for the program      - Act as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter, loan originator, and lender      - Provide the customer with timely and periodic status updates of their loan application      - Return all inquiry calls within one business day_

    • CUSTOMER INTAKE AND DATA ENTRY _     - Collect required documentation from applicants and follow up on missing items      - Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for recurring internal                reports      - Order credit reports, title reports_

    • FILE SYSTEM MANAGEMENT _    - Compile documents for customer files and enter intakes to Data Management System for processing and              assessment     - Assure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies     - Ensure customer privacy, security of files and appropriate staff access_

    • ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

    _   - Prepare commitment letter(s), denial letter(s) and cancel files when necessary    - Maintain pipeline report and notify management of status as needed    - Process the documents received for each file, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document.    - Prepare fund request documents for wiring funds to closing.    - Make recommendations for procedural changes to increase efficiency._

    • OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

     

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • BS degree in finance, economics, or a related field • Mortgage industry experience • Basic Microsoft Office Application skills. • Exceptional phone and communication skills. • Exceptional Organizational and communication skills. • Detailed-oriented and time savvy. • Strong interpersonal skills

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    ▪ Work will be performed primarily in an office environment. ▪ May require sitting at a desk for long periods of time. ▪ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. ▪ Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general           office environment and accomplish tasks. ▪ Must be able to work on multiple assignments, under moderate stress levels.
