About the Role:

Passion Masonry LLC is looking for a skilled Masonry & Concrete Estimator to join our growing team in North Charleston, SC! In this role, you'll play a critical part in driving project success by delivering accurate, competitive bids that keep our crews busy and our clients happy. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for the craft, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for masonry and concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment

Review blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop accurate takeoffs

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing

Collaborate with project managers and field crews to align estimates with real-world conditions

Track and analyze bid results to continuously improve estimating accuracy

Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and project documentation

Identify potential project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in masonry, concrete, or construction estimating

Strong knowledge of masonry and concrete materials, methods, and installation techniques

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications

Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift) and/or Microsoft Office Suite

QuickBooks Online experience preferred.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously
